Abilities Unlocked is a mod that gives you a big head start, instead of having to gradually unlock powers and abilities through the usual game progression, this mod lets you start with all (or selected) abilities right from the moment you begin a new run. It’s configurable, so you don’t have to go full power from the get-go if you don’t want to.

If you’re the kind of player who wants to skip the early grind and jump straight into the fun, this mod is basically your cheat code (in the best sense).

How it works

Once installed, the mod reads a config file (you’ll find it in the BepInEx config area) where you can flip abilities on or off. So for example, you may want all abilities except “Super Jump” early on, because that particular ability has been reported to cause issues, especially in Act 3. (It’s disabled by default in this build to avoid those stability headaches.)

Here’s how you install it:

1. Make sure BepInEx is ready (if you don’t have it, install it first).
   
2. Drop the files from the BepInEx pack into your Silksong executable folder.
   
3. Take the AbilitiesUnlocked.dll and put it inside BepInEx/plugins under your game folder.
   
4. If the plugins folder doesn’t exist yet, start the game once (with BepInEx in place) to auto-generate it, then drop the DLL in.
   
5. Launch the game. Tweak your config file to decide which abilities you want active immediately.
   

Because the Super Jump ability was known to cause corruption or weird behavior in Act 3, it’s set to false by default. If you still want to force it on, you can—but it’s a bit risky and you’re on your own if it messes things up.
